For the 2012 campaign and national Grand Final events, Top Model UK are once again proud to be supporting fundraising and awareness with leading childhood cancer charity CHILDREN with CANCER UK.

Formerly named CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA, the charity was inaugurated by Diana, Princess of Wales, and for more than 20 years has been helping children affected by leukaemia, Britain's biggest childhood cancer.

In 2011 the charity renamed to CHILDREN with CANCER UK to reflect the vast amount of work it now undertakes to help fight all childhood cancers.

There are many aspects to the charity's work, with the support of families through welfare programmes and campaigning on their behalf being at the heart of the CHILDREN with CANCER UK ethos.

CHILDREN with CANCER UK receive no funding from the government and rely entirely on donations. In addition to it's many private, public and corporate supporters, CHILDREN with CANCER UK has a host of celebrity friends who actively support the charity's fundraising and awareness.

Top Model UK are delighted to once again be supporting the excellent work of CHILDREN with CANCER UK as our 2012 fundraising recipient charity.

As well as a significant donation from the Top Model event and from private donations, ALL of the profits from the Grand Finalists 'PUBLIC VOTE AWARDS' voting campaign will once again be donated to our chosen charity. In 2010 and 2011 we raised around £4,000 for CHILDREN with CANCER UK and we hope to smash that total in 2012.
