Now in it's 6th hugely successful year, TOP MODEL UK is THE leading nationwide professional model search. All of the previous winners and many previous finalists have gone on to walk at London Fashion Week and/or have since been shot for top European designers and graced the professional runway. The TOP MODEL UK finals are fully choreographed, high-profile, professionally produced and styled runway shows, and the entire campaign is supported by a host of fashion and model industry professionals.

Due to unprecedented demand, the TOP MODEL UK 2012 model search commenced accepting entry applications from Monday 22nd August 2011. The national Grand Finalists ar selected by a panel of industry experts and the gala finals will take place at The Hilton London, March 2012, as part of a prestigious international show weekend.

TOP MODEL UK is a free to enter professional model search and has no public text voting to select the finalists. TOP MODEL UK provides incredible PR, career and exposure opportunities to its Grand Finalists plus top prizes and awards. TOP MODEL UK is not a Beauty Pageant or online competition.

The following is a brief overview of the entry criteria, along with general
notes on what entrants need to do to apply. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions - info@topmodeluk.com

 
• Entrants must read the Entry Terms & Conditions and be happy with the commitments and requirements before proceeding. Top Model UK is a professional search and has various commitments that must be adhered to.

• Entrants must hold a valid British passport or UK/Eire citizenship or be in proven permanent residency in the UK. Entrants must be eligible for at least one of the following categories;

EDITORIAL : Entrants must be Age 15 years of age or over on or before 16/03/2012. Entrants must be a minimum height 5'7"/170cm to qualify for consideration in this category.  COMMERCIAL : Entrants must be Age 15 years of age or over on or before 16/03/2012. There is no minimum height for this category. CLASSIC OVER 30 : Entrants must be Age 30 years of age or over on or before 16/03/2012. There is no minimum height for this category. MEN : Entrants must be Age 18 years of age or over on or before 16/03/2012. Entrants must be a minimum height 5'11"/180cm to qualify for consideration in this category.

• During the entry process, a panel of industry professionals will produce a short-list of the best girls/guys from all of the entries. These entrants will be invited to attend the Grand Final selection interviews, where they will be interviewed by a panel of judges. From these girls/guys, the elite Top Model UK 2012 Grand Finalists will be chosen. Interview dates tbc.

• Girls/Guys will be judged on a number of criteria, including having a strong, overall marketability, recognisable potential, look and general performance.

• The eventual Grand Finalists (not entrants) will require a sponsor for their place in TOP MODEL UK 2012, but ONLY if selected as a national Grand Finalist. There is NO entry fee. Sponsorship can be sought through professional organisations, companies, corporate or local businesses, groups of friends, family, or an entrant can sponsor herself, if that is her preferred option. Top Model UK is FREE to enter and it is NOT the intention of Top Model UK that this sponsorship should be paid by the entrant herself. A sponsorship information sheet (printable pdf) is available to all successfully short listed entrants, on request, to present or send to a sponsor or potential sponsors. In addition, each Grand Finalist is required to sell/purchase a minumum of 4 (four) tickets to their specific Grand Final show, in order to provide minimum support for each Grand Finalist and to avoid partisan audiences.
